But how exactly can you tell if you are a qualifying member of the US military who can benefit from the Roofs for Troops rebate program? Here’s a quick rundown of who can utilize this program.
- Active Military Members. If you are currently a part of the United States military, you are absolutely a qualifying individual and can therefore take advantage of the rebates offered through the Roofs for Troops program.
- Honorably Discharged Veterans. The Roofs for Troops program was established as a way to express gratitude to military members for their service, including those who have been honorably discharged. If you are a veteran who left the service under honorable conditions, you are encouraged to apply.
- Retirees. If you have retired from a career in the US military, you are also able to get rebates through the Roofs for Troops program to make your new roof more affordable.
An important thing to note: in addition to belonging to one of the three groups mentioned above, the Roofs for Troops applicant needs to be considered a legal United States citizen in order to count as a Qualifying Individual.
